Other Schools

The main purpose of the Internet2 project is to connect member schools through a high-speed network. To see which schools are participating in the I2 project, see the official Internet2 list of member universities.

However, not all member schools are currently connected to one of the two Internet2 networks. To see which schools have active network connections, see the list of Abilene-connected sites and the list of vBNS sites (currently unavailable). If a university is connected to either one of these networks, you may exchange network traffic with them through UA's I2 connection.
